Format Proposal: It would seem to me that the best thing to do would be to keep the article’s appearance mostly the same. However, what they might want to consider is making use of meta-elements, like XHTML tags or CSS tags that can identify parts of the document that would make good answers to FAQ questions. Another thing that might help is if they make use of bold headers in the article and then format the article so that the content is broken up into important blocks of information. This would make it much easier to extract from the article the important pieces that should be available via FAQ.
