Lahaina, Maui, was once the whaling capital of the world. There are some excellent restaurants, the old historic town district, and nightly entertainment. Additionally, there is the magnificent Napili coastline and Kaanpali Beach for swimming and relaxation. Hawaii (the big island) has everything: lush rain forests, deserts, snow on Mauna Kea, live volcano, golf courses, deep sea fishing, horseback riding and black sand beaches. There is also entertainment and nightlife in Kona and Hilo.
