The USGS Seamless Server site makes it easy to download topo maps for any area in the US, and there’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to create a Moagu map from such a downloaded map image. There’s lots of other imagery available at the USGS Seamless Server as well, like black-and-white aerial photography. The BMap2MP tutorial offers links to several sources for individual USGS topo maps by name.
