Where can I get the technical spacs of my monitor ?
The first place too look at is the manual and the information plate on the back of the computer. Quite often the necessary information is not available on those or you don’t have the manual of the monitor. If you don’t have information of your monitor at those sources then you can try the monitor databases which are freely available in the Internet: • Apple Macintosh Monitor Database • The World Wide Web Monitor Database If those databases can’t help you to get information bout your monitor then you can try the FAQ or other technical documents of the computer where the monitor was earlier connected. If you get the technical data of the computer it was connected to then you at least know the parameters of some signal which work with that monitor. The last change is to contact the manufacturer of the monitor to ask for technical data.
