Where can I get the National Correct Coding Initiative edits?
They are available for free at http://cms.hhs.gov/physicians/cciedits/default.asp. The edits are updated frequently. CMS developed the edits to assist providers in proper coding of Part B Medicare claims. The edits list procedural codes that are not separately payable for services billed by the same provider for the same beneficiary on the same day of service. The list also includes mutually-exclusive codes that represent procedures or services that could not reasonably be performed in a single physician-patient session.
