The ODBC driver for Btrieve is built into Pervasive.SQL 2000i and V8 and are not designed to be used by earlier Btrieve engines. However, you can simply replace those earlier Btrieve or Pervasive.SQL engines with Pervasive.SQL 2000i and V8 to get ODBC access to your Btrieve data files. It is also helpful to have good up-to-date DDFs for your data so that the ODBC access works correctly.
