Where can I get suitable Viennese waltz music for dancing? What music is used in the lessons?
Commercially available compact discs include many of Viennese waltzes, although most (nearly all) are concert waltzes, often lasting over 10 minutes, with great variations in tempo that make them difficult to dance to. To find music suitable for dancing, look for “strict tempo” on the CD description, and dance lengths of about 3 minutes.
