Alcorn County Genealogical Society, P. O. Box 1808, Corinth, MS 38835-1808. A local non-profit educational society established in the early 1990’s. Membership is $15 per year. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Volunteer members of this group will try to assist those needing research in local published and indexed sources, free with a stamped, self-addressed envelope. A limited amount of more extensive volunteer research in original county records is available at an hourly fee. Do not ask members to make photocopies from original records because these records are very fragile. For any assistance, by return mail, be sure to send a thank-you note. Northeast Mississippi Museum Association. P. O. Box 993, 204 East Fourth Street at Washington St., Corinth, MS, 38834. Telephone: (601) 287-3120. Mrs. Margaret Greene Rogers, Executive Director (volunteer). Open March – October 10:00 to 5:00, Sunday 2:00 to 5:00; open November – February 10:30 to 4:30, Sunday 2:00
