The Local Hazardous Waste Plan was adopted in 1990 and the Program began offering services in 1991. The original Plan has been updated only once, in 1997. The Program is proposing to update the Plan in 2009-2010 for a variety of reasons which are described on the Plan Update page. If you live or work in King County, we encourage you to participate in the Plan Update process.
