Kurt, There are several places you can go for this. But be aware that often the consultancies contradict each other. Often I see articles in the press which say IT spending in the Financial Services industry is up slightly and then within seven days I see other articles completely contradicting the first lot. Your best place to try would be the likes of Datamonitor or Forrester. If your budget doesn’t stretch that far, try IT news publications such as Computer Business Review (link below), ComputerWorld.com, Silicon.com and do a search for “IT spending. That will give you free articles that might help you to patch together a view as to where things are heading.
