Where can I get information on museums, exhibitions, and tickets?
There is a useful website, available in English, with great information about Paris’ museums and exhibits. The site is called Museums in Paris (http://www.museums-in-paris.com). There is also something called the Paris Museum Pass, which will grant you access to most of Paris’ museums (including the Louvre, Muse d’Orsay, & Centre Pompidou) and many sites. In many cases, this pass will will allow you to bypass lines. You can find more detailed information on this pass at http://www.parismuseumpass.com/en/home.php. The Museum Pass is sold at all participating museums & monuments as well as at a few other locations in Paris. You can also purchase the pass at a few terminals in the Charles de Gaulle airport. There is a comprehensive list of points of sale at http://www.parismuseumpass.com/en/pass_points.php. If you plan well enough ahead of time, there is option to purchase the pass online and have it delivered to your home OR to an address in Paris. If you would like to have it delivered
