Where can I get ideas for labs and activities for my AP Environmental Science class?
The AP Program offers a wide variety of publications and materials, both in print and online, to help teachers. The Course Description and the Teacher’s Guide (available for purchase in the College Board Store are among the most helpful. The College Board also holds workshops, summer institutes, and conferences each year. To find out what events will be held in your area, you can search the Institutes and Workshops database on AP Central or contact your College Board Regional Office. Another great resource is the electronic discussion group for AP Environmental Science. You can get a lot of information through this list by comparing notes with other AP ES teachers and finding out what they are doing in their classrooms.
