Help is available from: • GAELS Information Skills Tutorials: Three online subject-based tutorials are available on the Library’s web pages: Biological and Biomedical Sciences Information Skills tutorial Chemical & Forensic Science Information Skills tutorial Physical Sciences Information Skills tutorial They can be accessed at any time, and used for self-directed and self-paced learning. Each tutorial comprises a number of units and sub-units, covering a range of search techniques and related skills. The units may be worked through sequentially, or may instead be used on an individual basis, as required, for reference and revision purposes. • Database guides: Individual database guides are available online via the alphabetical list of electronic databases. • Science Faculty Librarian: Based at the Level 4 Enquiry desk, and contact details available on Science Librarian’s homepage.
