The Greater Los Angeles Vector Control District (formerly the Mosquito Abatement District) provides services to control mosquitoes, midges,and black flies and to prevent mosquito-transmitted disease. The district no longer provides services for the control of bees or Africanized Honey Bees. For more information, call the district at 562-944-9656 or at www.glacvd.org.
