Where can I get free FL studio sounds?
I agree, FL Studio’s stock sounds are pretty limited. Unfortunately for you, real instrument emulation is a pretty difficult form of synthesis, and virtually any free option will not satisfy you. Even top of the line options can sound weird. That said, I’ve downloaded some soundfonts that sound ok to my ears, especially the strings. I believe I’ve downloaded the majority of my soundfonts here: http://hammersound.com/cgi-bin/soundlink… Pay attention to the ratings, because some are very poor, and some are considerably better. Once you download it, you need to put the soundfont file in the soundfont folder. In FL Studio, you’ll see a soundfont folder in the browser, so just find out where that is (probably something like Program Files > Image Line > FL Studio > [something else])(assuming you’re using windows) and cut/paste the file there.
