Where can I get free condoms, emergency contraception or sexual health information/ screening?
ALL students can obtain free condoms from any member of staff, including reception staff, in Student Health/Park Medical Practice. Buxton students can obtain free condoms from the University Nurse or Student Wellbeing Service receptionist. ALL Derby students can obtain free emergency contraception from the University Nurses via drop-in surgeries. Students registered with Park Medical Practice can also obtain emergency contraception by making an appointment to see a PMP nurse or GP. The Buxton nurse works very closely with local services to help students access free emergency contraception. University Nurses can provide information and advice on sexual health issues and local services available to students. Park Medical Practice provides sexual health screening for students who are registered with the practice.
