Where can I get experience working with children or adolescents?
Opportunities to work with young people abound in Orange County. You may wish to begin as a volunteer in your own community, at your place of worship, or at a local hospital or school, to name just a few. You may explore the programs for children that are sponsored by your employer. There are a variety of programs supported here at OCDE, please go to Orange County Department of Education – Institute for Teaching Excellence (ITE) . Volunteer to read to young children, help children with homework, or advise them in your particular are of expertise and experience.
