Where can I get discounted New York Broadway tickets?
The most famous outlet is probably the TKTS booth in Times Square. You stand in line and can typically get tickets for that day’s shows at half price. The newest and most popular shows aren’t usually available there but you can usually find the popular shows that have been running for awhile. Also, you’ll often get people from smaller theaters handing out fliers and coupons to people in line for off-broadway shows that aren’t being sold at the booth. If you’re feeling adventurous, that’s a great way to discover something off the beaten track. I’ve seen some great $10 plays that way. TKTS relocated a few blocks uptown from where they used to be in the middle of Times Square. According to their website the Times Square booth is now on 47th street.
