Compoundeyes is an ability that only four Pokemon have: Butterfree, Nincada, Yanma (might have the ability Speed Boost), Venonat (might have the ability Tinted Lens). It increases the chance of finding a Pokemon holding an item in the wild, if the Pokemon with the ability leads the party, even if it is fainted. It might not help you too much since Lucky Eggs are found on 5% of wild Chanseys. Chansey is found on Routes 209, 210, and the Trophy Garden. Don’t even try the Trophy Garden because the chance of encountering one is 5% only when the owner says she’s in there. On Routes 209 and 210, you also have a 5% chance of encountering Chansey. Wild Chanseys can be found holding either the Oval Stone or the Lucky Egg. As noted earlier, only 5% of wild Chanseys you encounter are holding a Lucky Egg. That means that even if you use a Pokemon with Compoundeyes you still have a 0.05% chance of finding a Chansey with a Lucky Egg (the rest will be holding an Oval Stone). My advice is to teach the
