Where can I get a vista driver that will work for my epson 2450 scanner?

I’ve downloaded the driver from Epson several times, but for some unknown reason the installation is not successful. My computer recognizes the scanner and informs me that the driver has not been installed. I followed the instructions posted on the Epson site as closely as possible. What actually happens varies from what they indicate should happen. I suppose that’s why the installation was unsuccessful but still don’t know what has to be done to make it successful.
