Where can I get a Vehicle Identification Check (VIN Check)?
If you need to get a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) check, come to the Police Department during regular business hours and someone will be glad to help you. You will need to bring the vehicle’s title or registration, as well as the vehicle, with you.If the vehicle cannot legally be driven, we don’t want you to get a ticket so give us a call and we’ll arrange a time to meet with you at your residence or location of the vehicle. We try to do your check the same day that you call, but we can’t guarantee it.
