Where can I get a pair of sunglasses like the ones Sharon Stone wears in the movie?
According to the Internet Movie Database listing, under “Goofs”, there is an “Armani logo on Ellen’s sunglasses”. I have looked closely at the DVD release, zooming in on the sunglasses, and I can not see a logo on them. My guess (and it’s only a guess) is that they were made up by the props department. I was told on set, by people who are up on “period” stuff, that in those days (1878), the only people who wore sunglasses were the blind and those with syphilis. This made for a joke or two about Ellen/Sharon Stone. After all, we knew she wasn’t blind!
