A broker can source loans from many different lenders, so they are more likely to be able to find you a lender who will give you a loan. However, I think loans for consumer garbage like televisions, cars, and holidays are a bad idea. So really think about whether you NEED the loan. Most often people don’t. Apply for a loan ONCE at the brokers, and then no more. If you’ve been turned down, it still goes on your credit history and makes your credit look horrendous — so even if you do get more work, a higher income, and want a loan, you won’t be able to get one.
