These days whoever buys a laptop is supposed to create his or her own Restore Disk as soon as as he or she turns on the laptop for the first time. If you didn’t do that and your computer crashed, then you will have to see if you can find someone with a similar computer and who created the Restore Disks, or call HP Customer Service to see if they can send you one for free, or sell you one. A friend of mine had a similar problem with an Acer laptop and they sent him a free disk. It took several months, but he finally got it. Good luck!
