Where can i find Venomous snakes in Melbourne ?
I dont know about locations around Melbourne. Usually people dont like the snakes, and they tend to get killed if they wander too far into the city. You might want to try some places that are a bit further out, and have a bit more habitat- either in the Western or Northern areas, which have mostly grassy open paddocks and some trees, or Eastern, where you actually have forest- in the Dandenongs. I believe snakes that live within the Melbourne area would include the tiger snake, copperhead, red-bellied black snake, and eastern brown snake. These are the ones that I see most often, anyway. Tigers, browns, and copperheads are all dangerous- I think brown snakes are about the 2nd most deadly species of snake in the world- or Australia at least lol. Look up these individual species to see where abouts you might find them. Another great place to check out- if you want to see them in their natural environment- is the wildlife reserve at Little River- between Melbourne and Geelong, or Geelong
