Candidates for the Senators are in the website of COMELEC. In the First District of Cavite, re-electionist Rep. Joseph Emilio Aguinaldo “Jun” Abaya of the Liberal Party (Atienza wing), a retired naval officer and PMA graduate and who recently passed the board as a lawyer, is up against incumbent last-term Mayor Jessie “JBC” Banyad Castillo of Bacoor who is with the LDP Party.
