Where can I find the English translation of a poem by Victor Hugo from Inner Voices (Voix Intérieures)??
This is very difficult. I have never seen an English translation of this particular poem in any of the common editions of Hugo. However, it was a popular piano ballad in the 19th century and there is I believe a translation of the words in sheet music of the time – try for To Olympia in The Nineteenth-Century Piano Ballade: An Anthology by James Parakilas. I think there may be a translation there.
