In answer to your question, you can find the Easter story in any of the four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I would suggest reading all four accounts, as they are from different perspectives, and when taken as a whole form a powerful truth of Jesus dying for all our sins, and his resurrection and ascension, which promise eternal life. It can get confusing when you’re new to Christianity, but I encourage you to ask questions, and don’t be afraid if someone ridicules you for your beliefs. Ask your pastor or priest, others you know from the religious community, friends, and family. Most importantly, don’t let yourself become discouraged. Belief, faith, and trust in God does come with trials and tests…it’s not all perfect. But there is a saying that has helped me greatly in my life, which has been filled with personal tragedies
