Where can I find the AMSU-A (Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit on Aqua) and HSB(Humidity Sounder for Brazil) data?
A. Thank you for your interest in the AIRS Data Products. They are all available for free from the GES DISC. HSB died on Feb 4, 2003 and so there are no HSB radiance products after that date. Data may be downloaded via FTP or through a web page. URLs to the documentation and data download option pages are: AIRS Data Support at the Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center (GES DISC): http://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/AIRS/ AIRS DOCUMENTATION at GES DISC: http://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/AIRS/documentation.shtml AIRS DATA ACCESS at GES DISC: http://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/AIRS/data_access.shtml AIRS DATA PRODUCTS ACCESS via web interface: http://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/AIRS/data_products.shtml AIRS Algorithm Theoretical Basis Documents (ATBDs): http://eospso.gsfc.nasa.gov/eos_homepage/for_scientists/atbd/viewInstrum ent.php?instrument=22 AIRS NRT SO2 Detection: http://www.orbit.nesdis.noaa.gov/smcd/spb/airs/so2.
