In 2003, ASLRRA commissioned the most comprehensive data study ever done on the small railroad industry. The most recent edition (2007), is available in booklet form. Short Line and Regional Railroad Facts and Figures, can be ordered through the ASLRRA. Several other organizations also provide data on short line and regional railroads. Railcar Management, Inc.
