Where can I find song remixing programs?
Audacity is a good app for remixing but there are some things no program can do and you’ve just named them. To clarify. Acapella is a vocal without music. The backing vocals can be removed with varying success but only if they are exactly in the center of the mix but…. That would also remove the main vocal track. They can’t be separated. It is not possible to remove the background music leaving the vocal. The only way what you want to do is possible is with the original multi-track studio recording. It can’t be done once that is mixed down to stereo. None of the other apps suggested can do it either.
