where can I find solar lighting for an entrance into a subdivision to mount on columns?
I just purchased some solar lighting lamps to put around my garden. I got them at Home Depot. I remember they had a large selection of many different types. I happened to get 6 lights that you just pushed into the soil and it ran me $50.00 I have received gardening catalogues in the mail and they are way over priced, so do not go the catalogue route. Now the bad news. I am really not that happy with them. I live in the northeast and for the past couple of weeks we have had some nice sunny days but not all the solar lamps light up the same way. rarely do all six stay lite at the same time and when they do the light lasts maybe 6 hours. I noticed my neighbor across the street has a path of them leading up to his front door (mine are in the back) and his do the same thing. In my opinion solar lights are OK but there is nothing like real electric lighting.
