My hair was at my waist when I got married. The lady that did my hair for me french braided it upside down (the braid started at my neck and went up) and once she reached the crown of my head, she folded the braid back over on itself and pinned it so there were no loose ends. She left out loose pieces to curl and frame my face and trail down my neck and back, it was a really elegant style that lasted the whole day, and I didn’t have to worry about my hair flying everywhere (it was an outdoor wedding, lol) or getting caught in anything.
