i have had oral cancer and although the cancer was caught in time the treatment was horrendous of chemo and radiotherapy.nearly 2 years later the radiotherapy has destroyed my saliva and taste buds.i cannot eat and have a tube fitted into my stomach for nutrients to be pumped into me.yes i am lucky to be alive but having to watch everyone around me eating when i can’t is soul destroying.if you go to google or any search engine click on images and type in oral cancer you will see what a devastating disease this is.at 11 years old you think he would still be playing football etc not chewing tobacco.i hope it has the desired effect.
