Where can i find pictures of my house, about 100yrs ago?
Do you know for a fact that your house is that old? You can go to your county deed registrar and find out who owned your house at different times and when it was built. If you can locate their descendants, they may have pictures. Bear in mind, I have done this, and most of them will not call you back or answer your letter. They will think it’s some kind of scam. I got one answer and she gave me lots of info but there were no pictures. People didn’t take pictures of everything back then the way that we do. You can check your local historical society and see if they have photos filed by address. If you live in a small town, they won’t. .
