Where can i find peer reviewed journals?
Like the other posts have mentioned, an excellent place to start would be the library. There should be plenty of databases that you can access for free with your student I.D. that can lead you to tons of peer reviewed journals. A good place to start would be LexisNexis Academic, JSTOR, InfoTrac, and OneFile. These databases will lead you not only to peer reviewed journals, but law reviews and news articles as well. Usually you can just enter a key word to help you narrow down your searches, but if you are getting no results ask your school librarian to help you. While online versions of peer reviewed journals are sometimes more convenient, your librarian can also help you locate exclusive print editions that are not offered online. With that said, please understand that a “peer reviewed journal” doesn’t necessarily mean that it is solely featured in a “journal.” Most books and articles written by professors and university affiliated faculty are in fact peer reviewed.
