Where can I find party supplies for my daughters birthday that aren so generic?
You can’t go wrong with Disney Princesses and they are far from generic. You can find Disney Princess party supplies at most grocery stores. If not, try Target, Walmart, and Party City.
Other Disney themes are also fun to have at parties, and you’ll likely find fun themes related to Toy Story and other recent Disney/Pixar releases at your party supply store or party supply aisle at the grocery store.
You can use some Tinkerbell or other fairy party items, just without the character items. Use glitter and glue-you could transform the outside of a plain cup with some glitter and glue. I would use the Elmer’s spray glue and then dust with a fine glitter. You could do the same thing on napkin rings, etc. I would not put glitter on the plates, but you could put some glittery confetti on the table. Go to a fabric store and purchase some tulle-it comes in various colors. It will look great with the candles and lights. How about sparkler candles on the cake, instead of regular candles? We have a pond/pool light that changes colors-you might could find something like that to put on the table (or in the water if there is a pond or pool or even fountain nearby) It has all of the colors you mentioned, and would be a neat special effect. Use a lot of flowers. You could get ideas from fairy themes, and recreate them yourself. Buy, rent or borrow a projector and draw it on cardboard, then paint.
