Where can I find out information on upcoming educational events, especially events accredited for specific interest requirements?
Calendars of educational events are available on the QA&CPD website. The accredited educational events calendar displays details for all GP education activities approved by the QA&CPD Program that Education Providers have chosen to be advertised by the college. The online accredited events calendar allows for ready identification of events as it can be searched by: • topic/specific interest requirement, eg. diagnostic radiology, mental health, medical acupuncture • activity category and type (there are separate calendars for online and distance education, clinical audits, and other activities) • location (state) • domain of general practice, eg. communication skills, population health, organisation and legal issues • date (month). There is also an online calendar of events that have not been approved by the QA&CPD Program (called the unaccredited events calendar). QA&CPD recognises the benefits of GPs participating in unaccredited events; however, the college accepts no responsibility
