Syspine shall soon provide a list of the compatible hardware vendors, which include IP desktop phones, conference phones and other peripherals at the partner page. Optional and Other Important Equipment Power line surge protector: It is highly recommended that you protect your Syspine system from lighting and power surges originating from the incoming telephone lines and AC electrical service. Uninterruptible power supply (UPS): To support system operation in event of local power failure and may offer extra surge protection. Power over Ethernet (POE) Switch: Optional item used to power IP 310 phones over CAT5 cable eliminating the need for phones to use the supplied individual power adapters for plugging into local AC power outlets. Paging Equipment: One way PA speakers may be connected to the AUDIO OUT jack on the base unit. A customer provided external amplifier, speakers and power supply will be required.
