Where can I find more information on the strategic directions and activities associated with the CTG FOA?
Five “strategic directions” are listed on page 6 of the FOA. They are tobacco-free living, active living and healthy eating, high-impact and evidence-based clinical and other preventive services, social and emotional wellness, and healthy and safe physical environment. See pages 43–46 and Appendix C for additional information on the strategic directions and associated activities and outcomes. Do the applicants need to address all program outcomes (i.e., smoking, obesity, physical activity, nutrition, and mental health) or one or more of them? We are considering applying to implement a program that will increase family physical activity (which would also address obesity) and mental health but will not involve smoking or nutrition. Would we be ineligible? Eligibility is a separate issue from fully responding to the FOA. The FOA requires all grantees to address the following three strategic directions: 1) tobacco free living, 2) active living and healthy eating, and 3) high impact clinica
