Where can I find more detailed Agricultural Land Classification (ALC) data including Sub-division of Grade 3 surveys?
Since 1976, selected areas of England have been re-surveyed in greater detail than the ALC information published on MAGIC, and includes sub-division of the Grade 3 category. These detailed ALC field surveys which were carried out in accordance with current guidelines are the most definitive source of ALC information available see Agricultural Land Classification: protecting the best and most versatile agricultural land.
