Where can I find Montreal Smoked Meat in San Francisco Today?

Pretty darned close to Pastrami (more so than to Corned Beef), Schwartz’s Smoked Meat comes in low, medium, and full fat. Word is that full-fat is…well…basically just fat, adorned with a little meat, for texture. Low fat is more California-style and thus, perhaps, not quite as flavorful as one might hope. No, Medium Fat is the way to go. The sandwiches are inexpensive and large – my wife and I were perfectly fine sharing one (especially since we were having a fabulous dinner later at the incomparable tapas restaurant Pintxo) for something like $7 or $8 Canadian.
