There are lots of magazines in the shops that concentrate on hair styles, or you could just go into a hairdressers and ask their advice on styles, they have style books too and would be happy to advise you, you dont have to get it cut there and can go elsewhere. Failing that look around for pictures of famous people with hair cuts you like and take a picture with you when you have it cut.
