Where can I find materials published prior to 1965?

All journals published prior to 1965 and most books published prior to 1975 are kept in remote storage. If an item is located in Storage, patrons with a McGill ID or those with memberships must go to the Loans Desk and fill out a short form to request the item. Make sure you have all the bibliographic information (i.e., journal title, author, volume, etc.) Staff at Loans will photocopy the article or get the book for you from storage. Usually, staff go to remote storage once a week. This service is free for patrons with a McGill photo ID. There is a charge for patrons who purchased a membership or have CREPUQ cards. Note: This policy does not apply to the Osler Library which houses older publications.
