Grounded and ungrounded ANSI VT220 style 105 keyboards. The WY85 and WY185 both support the ANSI VT220 style 105 keyboard (840366-01). Originally this keyboard was ungrounded. Several years ago a ground was added, but no new part number was ever issued for this modification. The WY185 only supports the grounded version of this keyboard, the WY85 will support both. The grounded keyboard can be identified by a metal edging located in the recessed portion of the RJ9 connector on the keyboard. Use of an ungrounded keyboard on a WY185 terminal can display a variety of problems, including inability to access setup, inappropriate display, or no response at all.
