Where can i find Jupiter in the night sky?
The US has a great view of Jupiter this summer. Every night after about 10 o’clock or so, you should be able to spot it rising in the southeast. It’s the brightest object in the sky this summer, save the moon, and it’s up all night. Contrary to what another user has suggested, Jupiter is currently nowhere near Saturn and Mars (which, if you indeed found them, are in the opposite direction). If you’re navigating by constellation, it’s currently in Sagittarius, which has a very distinctive pattern of bright stars. If you have difficulty locating it, it will be very near to the moon this Thursday night.
