Where can I find inspiration for story writing?
You could try ‘people watching’. Sit in a public space – library, cafe, parks, etc – and look around at different people and try to imagine what their life is like, what their job is, where they are going, who they are meeting, etc. Invent the story of how you imagine their day went. Take a note book with you and note down what people are wearing, their mannerisms and speech patterns (if you are close enough to hear them). This may help you find your characters and story.
