General information about the grid infrastructure is presented in a white paper, available at https://caBIG.nci.nih.gov/guidelines_documentation/caGRIDWhitepaper.pdf. caGrid version 0.5 was released in 2005, and is available at https://caBIG.nci.nih.gov/workspaces/Architecture/caGrid.
