The Federal Reserve produces several publications that provide information about debit and credit cards. The Federal Trade Commission’s Web site also has information about credit cards at www.ftc.gov/bcp/menu-credit.htm. Three Federal Reserve Bank regulations relate to credit. They are Regulation B, Equal Credit Opportunity; Regulation Z, Truth in Lending; and Regulation AA, Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices.
