The City of Forest Lake does not operate any youth sports programs. They are run by the Forest Lake Area School District. The Forest Lake Park Department runs a 4-week summer recreation program called SPARK (Summer Park Art and Recreation for Kids). This program is for children ages 6-12 and no pre-registration is necessary. The program is held at Lakeside and Beltz parks on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Southview Park on Mondays and Wednesdays.
